The Friends of Malham Tarn reserve the right to cancel or refuse boat bookings.

Please note that fishing will be cancelled if the Met Office weather forecast for Malham Tarn predicts winds in excess of 20 mph on your fishing day. A refund will be given in this case.

No refund will be considered where boat is cancelled within 48 hours of the booked day. Consideration will be given to other cancellations with a reasonable excuse.

If angling is interrupted on the day due to weather (excess wind, lightening) no refund will be given.

Bookings may be refused where individuals repeatedly cancel their bookings.

All boat bookers must accept the Terms and Conditions and adhere to the fishing and safety rules, and observe the “Check, Clean, Dry” biosecurity protocol. Anglers not following these rules may be refused access or asked to cease fishing and should not expect a refund.

Booking of boats for resale by business is not permitted.
